      The Background

      A financial institution required full redundancy for the cooling-tower makeup water system serving one of its data centers.

      Because reliability was critical to the application, the project required a solution that could provide redundant operation while also fitting within the constraints of the existing facility.

      The Solution

      Two triplex MVP pressure booster systems were selected for cooling-tower makeup water service.

      The MVP's modular platform provides flexible operating configurations, supports multiple pump arrangements and offers communication protocols for integration with building automation systems.

      The compact footprint was also well suited to the existing facility. At just 28 inches wide, standard duplex and triplex MVP systems can pass through a typical single doorway, helping simplify installation.

      For mission-critical applications where reliability is essential, the system provides the operating flexibility required for demanding facility conditions.
