For pressure reductions not exceeding 100 psi*
and low load variability.
Two Stage Series Station
For pressure reductions greater than 100 psi and
low load variability. May also serve intermediate
pressure loads.
Single Stage Parallel Station
For total pressure reduction not exceeding 100 psi
and loads that vary widely due to seasonal changes
or process requirements. Uses two PRVs in parallel,
typically.
Two Stage Parallel Station
or pressure reduction greater than 100 psi and highly
variable loads. Also accommodates intermediate pressure
loads, if required.
HYFAB Steam Pressure Reducing Valve Stations Typically Include:
Cast Iron Regulators
Pressure Pilots
Strainers
Gate Valves for Isolation
Globe Valve for Bypass
Inverted Bucket Drip Traps
