The Background
Engineered-to-order skids can provide significant advantages on new-construction projects, particularly when accelerated schedules and site-specific conditions affect both system design and installation.
During construction of a new biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility, the project required engineered equipment supporting multiple hydronic and plumbing utility systems.
The Solution
Over approximately one year, HYFAB designed and supplied a variety of engineered skids supporting critical systems throughout the facility.
The equipment included systems for heating hot water, chilled water, cooling-tower water, domestic water, process water and heat recovery.
HYFAB also worked closely with the project team to coordinate staged deliveries around construction schedules and site requirements, helping keep the project moving efficiently from design through installation.
